National Secondary Schools Tournaments Day 4 Results

NPGHS weren't able to get past their hurdle of the semi-final at Marie Fry Tournament in Christchurch, going down to Kristin School 4-0. They will play Ashburton College for 3rd and 4th place.

At Rankin Cup NPBHS scrapped home against Christ's College from Christchurch and will play off for 13th and 14th place against Rangitoto College today. At the Johnson Cup in Hamilton the NPBHS 2nd XI defeated Stratford HS 2-0, and will play also play off for 13th or 14th place against Otumoetai College from Tauranga. In Tauranga at the Olympic Stick Tournament, FDMC went down 5-2 to Papatoetoe HS and will play Taupo-Nui-a-Tia College for 10th and 11th.

At the Jenny Hair Girls Tournament in Napier, Stratford HS went down to Te Puke 2-1, and will play off for 10th and 11th against Bethlehem College from Tauranga. The results for St Marys Diocesan in the Evelyn Hankers Memorial Tournament at Taupo were not available.

In the Mixed Tournament at Stratford, Hawera HS demolished Taumaranui HS 11-0, while Waitara HS recorded their first win of the week, 3-2 over Putararu. Orewa College overcame Spotswood 6-4, while in another high scoring fixture, Pompallier College won 7-5 against Henderson HS.
