Daniel Phillips umpired the final of Hatch Cup and Cathy Buhler did a quater-final at Collier Trophy, capping off a fine week for our junior umpires at the Under 13 National Tournaments.
Very positive reports were also received regarding Ben Schaare and Sarah Linehan. Taranaki has a developing reputation for the quality of its junior umpires, and the Umpires Council wants to build on this for the 2006 season.
