U15 Boys Development Quad In Wanganui

Under 15 Development Boys Wanganui Tournament Report Valuable experience gained for new boys The Taranaki Under 15 development boys team gained some valuable experience over the weekend with three games played in Wanganui. The team, with 6 first year players struggled against Horowhenua's A boys team and although they lost 7-2 they showed that they were able to score from set moves as well as open play. They suffered further losses to Hawks Bay and Manawatu but displayed a lot of courage and fought on to the best of their ability right up to the final whistle. First year goalie David Porter showed his potential by saving more goals than he conceded, Ciaren King, Sonny Nygen and Lewis Bloomfield all made notable contributions. The team compete again in June at Parmeston North. Bruce Linehan
