Central Hockey NHL Coaches being sought

Central Hockey NHL Coaching Application Central Hockey would like to invite applications from coaches to take the Central NHL Men’s and Women’s Hockey team coaching positions for the 2008 season. The successful applicant would have the support of an independently run professional management team, with current experience working with elite franchise teams. As well as this, a motivated Central Board actively trying to develop the Central brand across the region, through the success of their teams. We are seeking applications from coaches with suitable qualifications and coaching experience to take an NHL team, but will also carefully consider those thinking about taking the next step up the coaching pathway. The position has the potential to be a longer term appointment, subject to end of season reviews. The Coach Appointment process is as follows 1. CV’s to be delivered to the below contact by 15th December 2007 at 5pm 2. Interviews to be held by an independent Selection Panel in the following week. 3. The Selection Panel will recommend to the Board and an announcement will endeavour to be made prior to Christmas. (We realize this is a tight schedule) Central Hockey has had a successful history to date winning the NHL women’s’ title in 2004. We have many talented players including Black Sticks, loyal to the franchise and we wish to support them with a motivated positive coach with excellent communicating skills.
