Hockey Manawatu seeking RDO

REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER Hockey Manawatu is the governing body for hockey in the Manawatu region. The organisation is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to manage the sport’s coaching and development programme within our region. The Regional Development Officer shall be responsible for the development of coaches, umpires and players in the Manawatu region in line with the Associations goals and objectives and those of the New Zealand Hockey Federation. The successful applicant will have an appropriate tertiary or sports coaching qualification and proven track record and experience in sports coaching and development of coaches, teams and players. They will have excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with flexibility and initiative. The RDO will be expected to plan, organise, co-ordinate and evaluate a range of development programmes and courses and the local competitions.
