We were delighted to award Wallace and Jan Rae with Life Membership to Taranaki Hockey at the Youth Festival this weekend. 

Both have been stalwarts of hockey in North Taranaki since 1982 and having moved to Kapiti in the last few years, remain involved and interested in Hockey both in Kapiti and Taranaki.

Jan has held many management roles, from schools through to reps. Wallace held the position of NTJH president from 1982 - 1995 at the same time coaching many teams including representative, umpiring and much much more.

Jan & Wallace were awarded Hockey NZ Gold Service Awards in 2017. 

They have both influenced many players over the years, one through to Blacksticks level - we thank them for their service to our hockey community.
