SECONDARY SCHOOL COMPETITION

Taranaki Hockey’s Youth Competition is a school based competition for players at Secondary School and under the age of 18. This is a full field 11 aside competition, played at both the Stratford and New Plymouth Turf.

Apart from registering through the schools, registrations are also open to individuals (eg. home schooled children) who wish to play hockey . Please email competitions@taranakihockey.org.nz and provide us information such as name, address, gender, year level, dob and level of experience and we will try and find a team for you.

2026 PLAYING DAYS AND VENUES

The Secondary Competition will run on Tuesdays with overflow of games played on
Mondays (Championship grade) and Thursdays (Premier grade) during term 2 and 3. Games are played  in New Plymouth and Stratford.

Team registrations due: tbc
