SUMMER HOCKEY

IN NEW PLYMOUTH

2026/2027 SOCIAL SUMMER LEAGUE 6 ASIDE (15 WEEKS)

This is a 15 week programme that runs till the end of February 2025. Played on Tuesdays from 5.30 pm. 8 Weeks Pre Xmas starting on the 14 October until the 2 December 2025 and then 7 weeks post Xmas starting 13 January and finishing on 24 February 2026. 6 aside across half turf and 40 minute games. This is a mixed competition and aimed at beginners and experienced players. You can register as a team or as an individual. Year 9 and above.

WHANAU LEAGUE 6 ASIDE

This is an 8 week programme that runs from 15 October until 3 December 2026. Played on Thursdays from 5.30 pm onwards - 6 aside across half turf and 40 minute games.
Whanau League is aimed to cater for parents and their children. Suitable for beginners and experienced players. Year 3 and above. A minimum of three youngsters have to be on field at any given time. In this league Intermediates are welcome to make their own teams.

SPRING INTO SUMMER FUN STICKS - TERM 4

This programme is developed for children in year 1 & 2 at school and 4 to 6 year olds. The Fun Sticks programme is an introduction to hockey with an emphasis on being a fun experience. This is an opportunity to develop fundamental skills, players to learn by self-exploring with full involvement for all participants. A positive and quality coaching environment with regular changes of activities to maintain enthusiasm and interest within a safe environment.
